Walmer Castle and Gardens
This is the next castle along the coast from Deal, built as part of the coastal defence chain by Henry the eighth. Recently it has become a residence for many famous people including the Duke of Wellington and the Queen Mother but now it is the home of Lord Warden. The property is now part of English Heritage.
