Audley End

Today was the annual Classic Car Event at Audley End. Here are a few of my shots of some of the interesting cars attending.

This is a 1947 Morgan 4x4. The owner told me that the 4x4 stands for, Four Wheels and Four Cylinders, not as is commonly believed 4 seats. It has been beautifully maintained.

This is a 1951 MG TD in Shires Green. This was the car of my boyhood dreams. It is in perfect condition and looks beautiful. All the details have been harvested from information collected off the internet.

1914 Sunbeam. Finally I was looking forward to taking a few shots of this car by the lake but unfortunately it had a puncture for the second time that day. I guess that it’s all part of owning and running a beautiful vintage motorcar.

My thanks to all the owners that cooperated with my requests to move their cars to an area that was more picturesque and away from other vehicles so that I could show the cars to the best advantage.
